Currently Crysoptix’s team counts 32 employees. This team is highly experienced in thin crystal film technology, carrying knowledge of many years of product development and start up management.
  Dr. Pavel Lazarev, CEO: Founder of Optiva Inc., CA (1998-2004). President of Molecular Devices and Tech. Corp. in Moscow (1988-1991). Coordinating Editor of Molecular Engineering. Co-founded Journal of Molecular Engineering. Ph.D. and Doctor of Science from Russian Academy of Sciences, 1967-88. Author of more than 150 papers in scientific journals, over 100 patents and patent applications.
     
  Alexander Lazarev, VP of Marketing and Sales: Former engineer at the Boeing Co. based in USA (2002-2005). Held leading roles in product development teams (rocket engines and communication satellites) at the Boeing Co.  Has broad range of R&D experience in fields like material research, x-ray technology, etc. BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of California Santa Barbara (2000). MS degree in Manufacturing Engineering from University of California Los Angeles (2002).

  Shoji Shiota, COO: Has 9-year experience in managing international venture companies in Japan (1999-2007). Consultant in US-based management consulting firm of Arthur D. Little (1998-1999). MS and BS in mechanical engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology (1985-91).
     
  Jason Chang, VP of Business Development for Greater China: With 11 years experience in display and related materials businesses, including 3 years at ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan) for optical film development (1998-2001), 4 years at TPO for process integration&product marketing(2001-2005) and 3.5 years at Eastman Chemical(2005-2009). BS in Chemistry and MS in physical chemical from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan (1990-1996).
     
  Dr. Arthur Geivandov, CTO: Former project coordinator with Samsung Research Center (Moscow) 2004-2007 with responsibilities for R&D project management and product development. Ph.D. from Institute of Crystallography of Russian Academy of Science (condensed matter physics), 2004. Graduated from Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics, 2001.
     
  Dr. Olga Solovieva, CFO: Former Department Head at the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE) with responsibilities for management of initiatives related to technology entrepreneurship and R&D-intensive ventures in Russia. Ph.D. in economics and MS degree in Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics from Lomonosov Moscow State University. Author of one book and 9 articles on technology innovation.
     
  Dr. Alla Sakharova, IP manager: From 1999 to 2004 operated as IP Portfolio Manager with Optiva Inc., California. Experience in start-ups and intellectual property management goes back to 1995, when she served as General Manager of ZAO Quanta Invest (Moscow, Russia). Ph.D. in Chemistry from Russian Academy of Sciences, the Frumkin Institute of Electrochemistry, 1992. Graduated from Moscow Mendeleev Institute of Chemical Technology (now D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia), 1982.
     
  Valery Kuzmin, VP Chemical Manufacturing: Former Senior technologist, Head of Technology group and Project leader with Optiva Technology (1999-2005) with responsibilities for process development, optimization, cost reduction, technology transfer from lab to plant scale. Graduated from Moscow Mendeleev Institute of Chemical Technology (now D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia), 1992.
     
  Dr. Sergey Palto, Chief Optical Designer: Leading scientist at the Institute of Crystallography, Russian Academy of Sciences. Specialist in the field of physics of thin organic films and development of software for experimental methods and computer modeling. Graduated from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Moscow, in 1983; Ph.D. from Moscow Institute of Organic dyes and Intermediates and Institute of Chemical Physics, 1989; Doctor of Phys. Math. Sciences (speciality - Solid State Physics) from Institute of Crystallography, 1998. Total number of publications in referred journals (only monographs, articles and patents) is 128.
